love trent sitting in the locker room drinking out of his rainbow mug wearing a dolly parton shirt while everyone is like statistically there must be one more gay in this room who could it possibly be
I miss the days when, no matter how slow your internet was, if you paused any video and let it buffer long enough, you could watch it uninterrupted

people trying to insist a fandom is tiny when it /only/ has a few thousand works on ao3 meanwhile my current fandom is a sixteen book series and has several hundred fewer works than goncharov, a movie that, and i cannot stress this enough, doesn’t even exist
#measuring the size of fandoms based on their goncharov index#this has been a useless text post you may now resume your normal programming#rote has a goncharov index of 0.63#for perspective ofmd has an index of 26.5#spn’s is 360.8#the cosmere is 2.26 for a fantasy book comparison#i am very normal
The Goncharov Index, everyone.

had a dream (more like a prophetic vision) that there was a terminally ill youtuber who recorded a few months of content ahead of time to release after they died where they would occasionally casually reference the fact that they are dead, including a video talking about their actual real death complete with pictures. whole thing is kept cool and casual, no mourning or sadness just the usual “hey guys! guess who died today 🤪” stuff.
they managed to get early copies of some upcoming video games so they could post timely reviews and everything, still keeping up the whole “actually died recently” bit. they were still just like normal ass reviews, sometimes they’d drop a “wow this game is so bad I’m glad I died three weeks ago” or some similar joke.
the channel became super popular after he died and “deadtubing” became a trend but there was a huge scandal when one of the most popular deadtubers was revealed as actually being alive.
#yeah this is going to be real in like max 5 years
